Installation and Activation

Install MailFleet, activate it on one device, understand license states, and check for updates.

Before you begin

Prepare:

  • a MailFleet installer supplied by RocketsSend;
  • a supported desktop environment for that build;
  • an active internet connection;
  • a valid MailFleet activation code;
  • the device that will operate MailFleet.

Activation codes bind to one device. Do not activate the same code on a temporary machine unless you intend to use that device.

Install MailFleet

  1. Close any running MailFleet instance.
  2. Run the installer.
  3. Review the operating-system security prompt.
  4. Confirm the expected application name and version.
  5. Finish installation and open MailFleet.

Activate

  1. Open MailFleet.
  2. When the activation gate appears, enter the complete activation code.
  3. Give the device a recognizable name if the screen requests one.
  4. Select Activate now.
  5. Wait for online validation and signature verification.
  6. Confirm that the application shows an active license and the gate closes.

The license page shows the activation state, expiry, days remaining, device information, and last successful validation.

Understand license states

StateMeaningAction
UnactivatedNo verified code is stored for this deviceEnter a valid code
ActiveThe license is validContinue working
ExpiringThe license is near expiryArrange renewal
CriticalVery little licensed time remainsRenew promptly
Expired/lockedDeployment is blockedFollow the displayed recovery reason

A locked screen can reflect expiry, suspension, a lost device binding, an extended validation outage, or abnormal system time. Follow the reason shown:

  • restore network access and refresh for an offline-validation problem;
  • correct system time before retrying a clock warning;
  • reactivate after an authorized unbind;
  • contact support for a suspended code.

Move to another device

  1. Finish or stop active deployments.
  2. Export any credentials or records you need.
  3. Deactivate MailFleet on the old device.
  4. Install MailFleet on the new device.
  5. Activate the code again.

If the old device is unavailable, contact RocketsSend to request an authorized unbind.

Check for updates

  1. Open the update control in the top bar or About area.
  2. Select Check for updates.
  3. Review the version and release notes.
  4. On supported Windows builds, choose Update now to download the installer.
  5. Wait for download and SHA-256 verification.
  6. Allow the verified installer to start.

If automatic application is unavailable on the current platform, follow the verified download guidance instead.

Expected result

MailFleet opens without the activation gate, the license status is active, and deployment actions are available.

If activation fails

  • Re-enter the complete code without extra spaces.
  • Confirm internet access to the RocketsSend license service.
  • Check whether the code is already bound to another device.
  • Correct the operating-system clock.
  • Copy the displayed error code when contacting support, but never send the full activation code.

Contact gordon.hu@rocketssend.com when the displayed recovery action does not resolve the issue.
