Credentials and Export

Find, reveal, copy, and export deployment credentials while protecting sensitive data.

Successful deployments add credential records to the Credentials page. These records can include host, IP, server type, username, password, SMTP port, IMAP port, encryption, and batch information.

Treat the page and every export as sensitive.

Find credentials

  1. Open Credentials.
  2. Search by hostname, IP address, or username.
  3. Filter by server type.
  4. Sort by time, hostname, type, or status.
  5. Clear filters if an expected record is not shown.

The table shows the primary connection fields. Additional fields can be included in exports even when they are not visible as table columns.

Reveal and copy

Passwords are masked by default.

To reveal them:

  1. Confirm that no unauthorized person can view or record the screen.
  2. Select Show passwords.
  3. Copy only the required value or row.
  4. Hide passwords when finished.

Avoid pasting credentials into chat, shared notes, source control, or unencrypted tickets.

Export credentials

  1. Select the successful rows you need.
  2. Open Export.
  3. Confirm the number of selected records.
  4. Choose Copy or Download.
  5. Store the result in an access-controlled location.
  6. Remove temporary copies when they are no longer needed.

Customize CSV export

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Select Credential export.
  3. Choose CSV.
  4. Select from the available fields:
    • host;
    • IP;
    • SMTP port;
    • IMAP port;
    • encryption;
    • username;
    • password;
    • server type;
    • batch.
  5. Choose whether to include a header row.
  6. Review the live preview.
  7. Return to Credentials and export.

Customize text export

  1. In Credential export, choose TXT.
  2. Enter a line template.
  3. Insert field tokens such as {host}, {smtp_port}, {username}, and {password}.
  4. Choose or adapt a separator preset.
  5. Check the live preview for ambiguity.
  6. Export the selected records.

Use separators that cannot be confused with characters allowed in passwords, or import the export with a parser that understands escaping.

After deployment

The Deploy page can retain a snapshot of successful credentials and remind you when the most recent deployment has not been exported. Exporting a copy does not remove records from the Credentials page.

Troubleshooting

A successful server is missing

Return to the deployment result and confirm that the server emitted a credential event and finished successfully. Refresh the Credentials page.

Export is empty

Confirm that successful rows are selected and that the active filters have not removed all eligible records.

The destination cannot be written

Choose a directory the current user can write to and ensure there is sufficient disk space.

Security checklist

  • Reveal passwords only when necessary.
  • Store exports in encrypted or access-controlled storage.
  • Do not attach raw credential files to ordinary email.
  • Rotate credentials after suspected exposure.
  • Delete obsolete exports according to your retention policy.

Next steps

  • Manage server assets
  • Configure export defaults
