Single Verification
Verify one address and interpret its status, reason, and network evidence.
Use single verification to inspect an important address, test a validation method, or confirm that network settings work before a batch.

Run a check
- Open Single Verification.
- Enter one complete email address.
- Select Basic, DNS, or SMTP PRO.
- If network checks should use a proxy, select an available proxy-pool policy.
- Start verification and wait for the result.
The result panel shows the normalized address, status, risk score, main reason, and any detailed signals. Network methods can also show MX or SMTP-stage evidence.
Read the result
- Treat
invalidas an exclusion candidate and inspect its reason. - Apply your organization’s policy to
risky; role and catch-all addresses often need different handling. - Retry
unknownonly after checking its cause. Repeating an unreachable network request without changing conditions is rarely useful. - Treat
validas positive evidence for the method used, not as a future-delivery commitment.
See Results and risk scores for the exact lifecycle.
Use single checks before a batch
Verify a few representative domains before importing a large file:
- a common consumer provider;
- a business domain from the target list;
- an address expected to be invalid;
- when using SMTP PRO, a domain likely to expose port or anti-enumeration restrictions.
If many representative addresses are unknown, fix DNS, proxy, firewall, or port access before starting the full task.
Privacy
Only verify addresses you are permitted to process. Avoid sharing the result view if it contains personal data, and redact addresses from support diagnostics unless they are necessary for the case.
